| Asterisk 1.4.20-rc3 And Asterisk 1.6.0-beta9 Ready For Your Testing. Posted: 16 May 2008 11:14 AM CDT  Asterisk development team has released Asterisk 1.4.20-rc3 and Asterisk 1.6.0-beta9. The impending releases and the quality of the upcoming 1.4.20 and 1.6.0 releases rely on us testing these. As in the past, testing process has proven extremely useful to Asterisk Community. So if you are an Asterisk user, vendor or a community member, Please help to test these release as we will all share the fruits of your labour.I am in the process of setting it up on an virtual machine for testing. Setting up on a virtual machine may eliminate you having to assign a seperate computer for testing but there are some little glitches associated with it. Ideal condition would be seperate computer, which does not have to be super powerful unless you are planing to do capacity testing!. Any issues with test releases should be reported to http://bugs.digium.com/ or discussed on the asterisk-dev mailing list.
